President Bush Recognizes Urban Search & Rescue Team

President Bush spoke at the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium today. During his speech he recognized the efforts of US&R CA Task Force 7 and their service at the World Trade Center terrorist incident in New York.

With a capacity crowd of about 3,500 at Memorial Auditorium enthusiastically cheering the president's sentiments of national pride and determination, Bush made a point to recognize Sacramento's Urban Search and Rescue Team that helped in the recovery effort in New York.
Bush said he was honored to have met the US&R team when he visited the seen of the Sept. 11 attack on the World Trade Center.
