Technical Services

The Technical Services Division is comprised of 10 employees who are divided into two groups identified as IT or infrastructure technology and Communications.  The combined groups provide vital electronic technical skills to the District.   

The IT group is responsible for purchasing and maintenance of our District network equipment including servers, PC’s, laptops and all related software.  The Radio Shop purchases, installs and maintains the equipment necessary to provide telephone, fire station alerting and mobile communications for all vehicles and employees of the District, including pagers and cell phones.  The Radio Shop has the ability to design and build specialized technical systems, including audio and video project.  In addition, Tech Services is responsible for the maintenance of all 911-CAD information at Regional Dispatch in areas specific to Metro Fire.
