On October 19, 2003, at 0658 hours, Metro Fire personnel were dispatched to a single alarm commercial structure at 4250 Sunrise Boulevard, Hammer's Auto World.  Upon arrival, firefighters found a well-involved single story commercial building.  The building was approximately 30' x 30' in size.  It appears that someone broke into and ransacked the business before setting fire to the building.  The building was destroyed and the fire damaged 9 to 11 vehicles on the lot.  The vehicle damage ranged from extensive fire damage to minor radiant heat damage.  A witness viewed the suspect leaving the scene in a 2000 black on black GT Ford Mustang convertible, which was stolen from the auto lot.  The vehicle license plate number for the Mustang is 4NFF586.  The witness described the suspect as a white male in his mid to late 20's with a shaved head and multi-colored tattoos on both arms.  The witness also observed the suspect leaving the scene alone.
