Just before 9:30 P.M. Metro Firefighters responded to 34th street in the
Community of North Highlands for a report of a structure fire. Metro Engine
41 arrived and reported a working garage fire. The fire was quickly
controlled keeping most of the damage to the garage area of the duplex.
Some vehicles sustained damage.
The family will be required to relocate until repairs can be made. No cause
has been determined. Estimated loss is $10,000 for the structure.
